Eddy Canfor-Dumas

Eddy Canfor Dumas is an award winning scriptwriter and novelist. He has written comedy scripts for "Not the Nine O'Clock News" on the BBC, The Bill and Kavannagh QC. His first feature length drama was "Tough Love" starring Ray Winstone. His BBC documentary "Pompeii: The Last Day" (2003) was nominated for a Bafta and his greatly acclaimed "SuperVolcano" was shown in 2005.

His first novel was a big success:
"An absorbing story of everyday city life, where the characters stand out with all their human strengths and weaknesses, and the ending brings Ed - and perhaps all of us? - a hope we didn't necessarily expect. He is currently writing a series of essays based on Buddhism and daily life.
