Olivia Laing

Olivia Laing is a writer and editor. Until 2009 she was deputy literary editor of the Observer. She writes and reviews widely for the Guardian, Observer, New Statesman and TLS, among other publications.
She was previously a medical herbalist, specialising in the treatment of anxiety and depression. Going Under is her first book, and will be published by Canongate in the spring of 2011.
